Bonnie Roe is a partner in our corporate group.  Her practice focuses on U.S. securities law disclosure, mergers and acquisitions and financings.

For over 20 years she has represented publicly traded companies in a variety of transactions, including securities offerings, acquisitions, and complex financial structuring transactions.  She provides advice on corporate governance and executive compensation. Her clients include domestic and foreign issuers, investment firms and privately held companies.  She has counselled hedge funds, private equity funds, investment advisors, banks and insurance companies.

Bonnie is a frequent speaker on securities law matters and is the author of the chapter on legal opinions in securities law transactions in M. John Sterba, editor, Drafting Legal Opinions (3rd edition, Aspen 2004).

Bonnie joined the firm as a partner in 2006.  She was previously a partner in another New York law firm.  She received her J.D. from New York University School of Law in 1982, and her A.B. magna cum laude from Smith College in 1975.
