Candice practices in our New York tax group where she has been involved in international corporate reorganizations, hedge fund offerings, and real estate transfers.  Candice has extensive experience in financial products, offerings of stock, debt and hybrid instruments, transactions involving cross-border mergers and acquisitions, and tax controversy and litigation. 

Prior to joining our firm, Candice was a trial lawyer for the United States Department of Justice Tax Division where she successfully represented the government in numerous trials, hearings, and other federal tax litigation matters.

Candice received her J.D. and LL.M. in taxation from New York University School of Law where she was an executive editor and writing competition editor for the Review of Law & Social Change.  She also received a B.S. in mathematics and English from the University of Alabama with special division honors.  Candice became a partner in 2007.
