Jennifer Longhurst is a partner practising in the corporate finance and securities and mergers and acquisitions groups.
Jennifer has participated in several corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, securitizations, equity financings, partnership and shareholder matters, and providing ongoing corporate advice to clients. Her experience includes assisting a broad range of clients, including clients in the financial services and credit card industries and in the health care sector, publicly traded and private companies in the manufacturing, energy and consumer goods sectors, and cultural institutions.
Jennifer graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. (honours) in political science (dean's list) from McMaster University and an M.A. (with distinction) in political theory, also from McMaster University. Jennifer received a J.D. from the University of Toronto's Faculty of Law, where she received an award for achieving the highest standing in the area of corporate and commercial law. She is a volunteer member of The Royal Ontario Museum's Fact? or Fiction? Organizing Committee. Jennifer became a partner in 2007.
