If you have an opportunity to become a member of the Davies team, don’t miss it! What has impressed me the most about my two summers as a student with the firm is the remarkable synergy that exists at Davies. Here, a student doesn’t feel like a mere lackey, but rather like a full-fledged member of the team conducting the mandate to which he or she is assigned. This atmosphere is the direct result of the considerable efforts made by the firm to integrate students into the Davies culture through luncheon conferences with partners or its mentoring programme, to name only two.

Another memorable aspect of my experience at Davies is the feeling that the firm is willing to invest in its students. Whatever the training needs particular to a student (French or English courses, for example), they take care of them. Training is not considered an expense. You count for something and that’s good for the ego!

A chain is only as strong as its weakest link. The quality of people you deal with on a daily basis at Davies – administrative personnel, students, stagiaires, lawyers – is second to none. Did somebody not write: “We lead, follow who can!” That’s Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg.
