Davies' leading PPP/Infrastructure practice has been recognized with three 2009 "Deal of the Year" awards by Project Finance Magazine.  The award-winning projects include Global Deal of the Year: Port of Miami Tunnel, North America PPP Deal of the Year: Port of Miami Tunnel and North America Social Infrastructure Deal of the Year: Niagara Health System.

Davies acted as deal counsel to the Miami Access Tunnel consortium and its sponsors, Meridiam Infrastructure Fund and Bouygues Travaux Publics, and to Plenary Health which led the successful consortium for the new Niagara Health System project.  Davies is the only Canadian firm that received three Deal of the Year awards. The awards were presented in New York on March 4. In addition, the Port of Miami Tunnel Project was also awarded Deal of the Year by Project Finance International.
