Davies ranked first in Canada and 9th worldwide for Q1 2008

Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg is ranked first among Canadian law firms and 9th in the world by Bloomberg's M&A Legal Advisory League Table rankings for global announced deals in the first quarter of 2008.  Davies is the only Canadian firm listed in the top 20.

According to Bloomberg, in the first quarter of this year, Davies advised on transactions worth more than US$150 billion for a total market share of 22.1 percent worldwide.
