Four lawyers from Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg have been listed among Lexpert's Top 40 Lawyers Under 40, more than any other law firm. This year, the Lexpert Top 40 Lawyers Under 40 included lawyers in private practice, as well as in-house counsel.  Selected by an Advisory Board, the Top 40 Lawyers Under 40 were announced at last evening's gala dinner in Toronto and will be featured in the November/ December issue of Lexpert magazine.

Davies lawyers recognized on the list include:

Scott Hyman, a partner in our Toronto office, who focuses on derivatives, merchant banking, project finance, structured finance and asset-based lending, with a large component of his practice being specific to domestic and cross-border structured finance and project finance transactions.

Fiona Kelly, a partner located in our New York office, practices corporate/commercial and commercial real estate law.  Her practice involves a wide variety of commercial transactions, with particular emphasis on international and domestic acquisitions, financings, joint ventures and restructurings in the real estate sector.

Neil Kravitz, a partner from our Montréal office, specializes in corporate, commercial, mergers and acquisitions, and securities law.  He represents both public and private companies and has experience in public offerings, take-over bids, private placements and other financings and both private and public asset and share purchase transactions.

Sarbjit Basra is a partner in our Toronto office focusing on corporate and securities law, with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and private equity.  He is experienced in a variety of transactions, including purchases and sales of businesses, reorganizations, financings from private and public capital sources, strategic alliances and outsourcings.
