September 11, 2006 - Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg LLP announces the arrival of two new partners.  Jason Saltzman and David Wilson have joined the corporate finance and securities group in the firm's Toronto office.

Jason Saltzman
Prior to joining Davies, Jason was a senior associate in the Toronto office of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher and Flom LLP.  He is a 1998 graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School and also has an MBA from the Schulich (York) School of Business.  Jason was called to the bar in both Ontario and New York and his practice focuses on corporate finance and securities law, particularly cross-border issues of debt and equity.

David Wilson
David joins us as a Foreign Legal Consultant.  Before joining the firm, David was a senior associate at Shearman & Sterling LLP in Toronto, where he has practiced since completing law school.  He is a 1998 graduate of the University of Toronto Law School, and is called to the bar in New York.  David's practice has also focused on corporate finance and securities law, particularly cross-border issues of debt and equity.
