Quarterly Executive Survey Reveals Views on Foreign Ownership and the Canadian Economy
September 18, 2006 |
Through our support of this survey series, Davies hopes to provide a better understanding of the views of Canadian business leaders on a range of public policy, management and strategic issues. The surveys are conducted by the Gandalf Group, led by David Herle.
This third survey, focusing on the foreign ownership and the Canadian economy seeks the views of C-Suite executives on issues, including:
• the strategic importance of different sectors of the Canadian economy
• foreign ownership and foreign takeovers in Canada
This survey also continues to track their views on:
• their expectations for the Canadian and U.S. economies in the next 12 months
• their impressions of Jim Flaherty
• Canadian productivity challenges and concerns
A report on the survey findings appears in the Monday, September 18, 2006 Report on Business and Bill Gula, from Davies' Toronto office, will appear on an ROB-TV special presentation at 8.30 p.m. Monday that evening as part of an expert panel to discuss the findings.
