• acted for Ex Fund Technologies Corp. in the acquisition by Esarbee Investments Limited and Andell Holding LLC of common shares of Ex Fund Technologies Corp.;
• acted for Janes Family Foods Ltd. in the purchase of $10 million of its debentures by the Charles Rosner Bronfman Family Trust and Andell Holdings LLC;
• acted for Velan Inc. in the acquisition with BPS s.r.l. of 50% of the quota share rights of Velan s.r.l.;
• acted for Bell Canada in the implementation and financing of a web-based infrastructure platform developed by CGI Group Inc. and PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and the related ten-year outsourcing arrangements.
