Plenary Group has teamed with the City of Calgary to submit an unparalleled bid for the Portrait Gallery of Canada, being procured by Public Works and Government Services Canada and Library Archives Canada. The City of Calgary is one of nine cities selected to submit a proposal. If Calgary's bid is successful, Plenary Group's role will be to provide a holistic solution that ensures the successful long-term delivery of the project, including design, construction, financing, commissioning and ongoing facilities management.

The City of Calgary will offer a prominent site at the northwest corner of Olympic Plaza in downtown Calgary. Moreover, the City of Calgary has generated strong community support, substantial private sector donations as well as $40 million from the Province of Alberta. Plenary Group and the City of Calgary believe that the project represents a unique opportunity for the private and public sectors to combine for the development of a Canadian cultural landmark in Canada's fastest growing city.
