Plenary Group has been nominated preferred bidder for this project. It was one of two parties that submitted a bid to design, build, finance and operate (DBFO) a 3.1 mile toll road in Tampa, Florida. Plenary Group has teamed with PCL Civil Constructors Inc to bid on the project. The road will alleviate severe congestion for commuters travelling between North Tampa and downtown Tampa. The toll road will be the first privately financed DBFO toll road project in Florida and one of the first in the US.
