The Alberta Minister for Education has announced that Plenary Education has been shortlisted to bid for the development of 18 new schools for Calgary and Edmonton as a public-private partnership. The Plenary Education team includes: Plenary Group, Deutsche Bank, Stuart Olson, and Johnson Controls. If successful the team will design, build, finance and maintain 9 schools in Calgary and 9 schools in Edmonton. . Plenary Education has been invited to respond to a request for proposal and the selection of a proponent is expected by July 2008.
