La Senza Corporation was acquired by Limited Brands, Inc. following the completion of an all-cash takeover bid valued at approximately Cdn$710 million ($609 million U.S.). The deal combines the Canadian clothing retailer, with 326 stores and four brands (in addition to the 341 stores that are operated in 34 other countries in the world through corporate licensing and co-operation agreements) with an American specialty store retailer with 3,543 locations and eight brands.  Davies acted as M&A and securities counsel to La Senza and tax counsel to its principal shareholders.
