    Acted for NordDeutsche Landesbank Girozentrale, New York Branch in the establishment of credit facilities for the acquisition, construction and operation by Starwood SSM1 Canada Incorporated of 22.352 MW DC solar power facilities in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.   12/18/2009/2009  
    Acted as lead counsel to Australian-headquartered global packaging manufacturer, Amcor Limited, in its acquisition of Alcan Packaging operations from Rio Tinto plc in 31 countries for approximately US$2 billion.     Acted for a lending syndicate, led by BMO Nesbitt Burns Inc., in connection with its $756 million financing of the state-of-the-art Canaport liquefied natural gas ("LNG") receiving and regasification terminal in New Brunswick.     Acting as Canadian Counsel to Nortel Networks UK Limited together with 18 of its subsidiaries, all of which are subject to administration proceedings under the jurisdiction of the High Court of Justice, Chancery Division, Companies Court in England (the "UK Court") pursuant to England's Insolvency Act 1986 and are thereby under the control of joint administrators appointed by the UK Court, in conjunction with the global restructuring of the Nortel group of companies and the coordination of Canadian and U.S. insolvency proceedings.   8/20/2009/2009

    Acted for Norddeutsche Landesbank Girozentrale, New York Branch and SunE Sky First Light LP in connection with the financing on solar power projects being developed by joint venture between SunEdison and SkyPower Corp. The project was the first solar project under the Ontario Renewable Energy Standard Offer Program to be project financed.
