SCI Income Trust sold all of the securities of Simmons Canada Inc. owned by it to Simmons Bedding Company, a subsidiary of Simmons Company.  Subsequent to the completion of the sale, SCI Income Trust redeemed all of the outstanding units of the trust for the redemption price of $16.25 per unit and the trust was terminated.  Davies provided corporate, securities and tax counsel to SCI Income Trust and Simmons Canada Inc.
