Viking Air Limited, a Victoria, B.C. based aerospace company, acquired the Type Certificates for the de Havilland fleet of heritage aircraft—the Chipmunk, Beaver, Otter, Caribou, Buffalo, Twin Otter and DASH 7—from Bombardier Inc. in 2006.  Davies represented Viking Air in the acquisition of the Type Certificates and is currently advising Viking Air Limited in connection with the production of the new Twin Otter aircraft.
