Merrill Lynch Canada Inc. led the syndicate of purchasers in the acquisition of a CDN$336 million equity stake in Aber Diamond Corporation. Tiffany & Co. sold 8 million of its common shares in Aber Diamond Corporation (representing 13.9 per cent of the outstanding common shares) through a private offering in the U.S. and Canada. The syndicate also included CIBC World Markets Inc., Scotia Capital Inc. and UBS Securities Canada Inc.
