CIBC World Markets Inc. led the underwriting syndicate for the completion of an initial public offering by Richards Packaging Income Fund. The IPO involved the underwriting of 8,569,913 trust units for total gross proceeds of CDN$85.7 million. The fund used the proceeds of the offering, together with U.S.$18.2 million borrowed under a credit facility, to indirectly acquire Richards Packaging Inc.
